transit.nihil is a solo performance for oboe and live-electronic. This is a journey beyond any narration, an accoustic ritual which transforms physical manifestations into abstract streams of information. The music itself, being based on improvisation structures creates the hybrid reality made of virtual images and vectors of its potential senses.
In its core, transit.nihil reflects the duality of the environment and the protagonist through the combination of electronic soundscapes with an acoustic instrument. Making use of live-processing technics and radical sound-experiments, the oboe rids itself of its historical context and becomes a chimera composed from fragments of its past and future meanings, a traveller between endless virtual worlds.
“...Take the liberty to dive into this transdimensional noisiness of sound and find yourself immersed in an audio adventure with limitless images that keep pouring into your mind and consciousness in the twinkle of an eye.” (—-Anatoli Ulyanov)
